Another 960 throttle plate swap question

I have a 1998 V70 non-turbo.

I emailed my local volvo dealer asking for a 960 throttle plate, and they said they needed to know what year,
because it makes a difference, they said. I've combed the previous threads and can find nothing on this matter.

What year's 960 throttle plate do I need? Thanks.

O.o I am not so sure it makes a difference....

After 92. The earlier models had a 3.0L engine rather than the 2.9, so I guess the throttle body was different too.

I believe its a 92 and up, I just ordered the TBP myself from Darrel Waltrip and the parts rep said he'd order a 92' 960 TBP 4
the mod I wanted to do. He knew exactly what I was talking about, with the exception of the Southern accent we understood
each other, guess I have a New York accent myself. Anyway I hope that helps you in your quest for a TBP, Shiloh.

Just received 960 TBP and will be installing in near future, my 96' GLT already pulls kinda tough for a N/A though. Did airbox thermostat already and hooking up HO exhaust. I paid only $10.25 for throttle body plate and shipping, wow what a great deal for this small but good mod. Thanks guys for all the info on this forum, Shiloh.
