Mechanic Recommendations in Bay Area(CA)? Topic is solved

Hi Everyone,

I own a 1997 850 GLT, and was wondering if there were any good mechanics that specialize in Volvos and charge reasonble rates in the East Bay. Wanted to see what my options were other than going to the dealer.

If you were willing to take it across the bay (San Francisco)... there are quite a bit of Volvo repair shops. Unfortuantly I don't have any experience with them yet (I'm looking to buy a Volvo 850 soon).

There are good places in San Francisco (Volvo Centrum) and San Mateo (Jonsson's), but I don't know any in the East Bay.

why would you take it to a shop?
