2001 xc70 cold start problem

2001 xc70 cold start problem

Hello,

I have an xc70 with new a new injector rail that continues to have a cold start problem. When the car starts, the tack goes a bit wacky and takes about 3 - 4 seconds to start. After the car warms up, it does start quite a bit better (but not perfect). Also have new battery. Dealer is useless so I'm working with an independent volvo repair specialist who used to work for dealer..better results but this problem remains unsolved.

There are no codes being reported and the throttle body was also recently replaced.

Can anyone assist with what else to look at? I'll pass all the info to the repair shop...Thanks in advance.

Have you looked into the fuel pump and fuel pump relay?
