C70 Convertible Top Noise and cleaning

Hello-
We are new to the forum and hoping we can get some good advice. I have two problems that I will post on two different topic headings. We have a 2000 C70 and have had ii since birth - what a great car it has been. The cloth top is starting to make a little flapping noise - not real bad but annoying. It has probably stretched a little or something. Is there a fix for this?? Also has some black marks - grease looking - on it and we have been scared to use a cleaner without knowing what we were doing and would appreciate any cleaning or treatment tips for the top. Glad to have found this site and thanks to all for any help.

Can't really help you with the flapping noise thing (this is one reason I've never liked convertibles

), but there are a few companies out there that make products for cleaning convertible tops. Here is one of them. I believe Lexol and P21S may have their own versions as well.

Thanx. Any tips on re-colouring the top? Mine has several light coloured scratches in the black fabric.
