I'm a proud owner of a 850 estate 5 cyl non turbo
Recently I'm getting difficulty starting my Volvo.
It give a real shake (jerk) a couple of times before starting, after that it smooth all the way. Sometimes it starts 1st time but rarely.
Please anyone with the answer to this problem?

OK, a couple questions for you:
a) what year?
b) when's the last time you did a tune-up? Plugs mainly, though wires and dist. rotor could also have an effect.
c) have you checked the fuel pressure before starting?
