20g on the cheap

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

20g on the cheap

Post by raint5 »

i mentioned this on volvospeed and got chastized before i could even explain myself, but i have done more research and thinking, i know that a dsm turbo will not bolt directly up to volvo, however i was thinking that if you fully disassemble the turbo, removing the intake and hotside of a dsm 20g, and put the volvo housings on the core, i dont see why it wouldnt work and still look stock even.
soon to come, mbc; boost, afr and oil press. gauges

If you can fit it into the 18-19 housing there won't be a problem ok you might need to adjust the manifold for the offset on the turbocharger housing.
