Just to check; are the lights working on your dashboard toggle switches, like the Lock, Sunroof, TRACS, etc, or is it just the speedo lights that are out? If I remember what I've read, there's two bulbs behind the LCD screen and four behind the speedo. I know both LCD bulbs are gone on my car, and I'm sure at least two of the four speedo bulbs are gone. I can still read the gauges, but I know it's not perfect...

If yours is anything like mine, it may be the ignition switch. Are your headlights/shifter lock, and climate control all working, just not the dash lights?

Sometimes a quick jiggle of the key will get everything to fire up again.

So I pulled the dimmer switch as recommended above- the switch had some gunk under it. Kind of an odd spot, but I cleaned it up and put it back and the lights work now. I don't know if it was the cleaning or just that I jostled something in a way that needed to be, but I'm good now!

I really appreciate the responses. I cannot believe how much useful info I've gotten from this site.
