I don't repair the bosch units. The ATE units keep me busy enough.

There are quite a few places that repair them for around $100 though.

I'm needing an abs module for my 2001 C70. Do you by chance have these in stock for an advance? If so please email me at [email protected] thanks!

Hello, own a 2000 V70 GLT & gave the repair a shot. Didn't work out for me though. Can I still ship it to you for repair or how much for a replacement? Has winter mode arrow flashing, does that mean it has tracs? Thanks for any help.

I'll send you an email when I get home.

Unfortunately, the flashing arrow usually indicates a transmission problem.

I had the on again off again ABS light, along with the occasional brake shudder, for months. Found the torx socket at harbor freight and ordered a rebuilt module from Matt. I had the unit in three days. Installed for a week now with no ABS light and no strange pulsating pedal. Thanks Matt. No warning lights...Stops too...life is good.

Matty,

Thank you for this interesting thread as I have been reading, I too will need one from you.

1998 v70 N/A, A/T
1. My car is a Florida car but origionally from New Hampshire.
2. How do I know if my car has the TRACS system?
3. I take it you would do PAYPAL for payment?
4. Do you have one for my car and of, course, need to figure out if my car is a TRACS car or not.
5. What size torx socket do I need to use? I have heard that breaking or reaching one of those screws to come loose is a challenge... I think it is reached from the underside of the ABS box. Do I need to usePB Blaster to make the screw loosening any easier?

please send me a PM as BOTS on the internet will usuall scan sites for email addresses and I prefer to avoid spammers.

Thank you and have a great Forth of July.
Eric

If you have a TRACS button on the dash, you have TRACS.

It takes an e5 torx. PB blaster? Maybe if they are corroded. I'd take a hard bristle brush to the bolt heads first and just be careful.

What's interesting about the bolts being corroded is that it isn't limited to any geographical area. I've seen salty midwest cars that had clean bolts, and cars down south with corroded bolts. The best course of action is not to rush anything and be careful.

Matty,

Thank you for offering such a wonderful service at such an incredible deal! And the warranty too, WOW! I will be in touch early next week to do an exchange for my '96 850 R wagon with TRACS. I was planning on trying my own repair next week, but I am so glad I found this thread. This will be money well spent! [email protected]

Thanks again!
