Here is the instruction to take cluster out (up to step 16):

You might want to replace them all once you are there. You can buy them cheaper

Replace all bulbs: well I would not do that b/c one thing I have learned about light bulbs in general is that: they may last 1 day, they may last 20 years.
Anyway, the cost is low, so if you replace them all, you are not out of money.

* READ my trick above, some of the bulbs are accessible from below (no need to remove the cluster!).

My DIY is for 1998.
1998 and 1995 are slightly different, but not much.

What i am saying is for 850s, there is no need to remove the whole dash cover in order to get that cluster out:

Maybe, but for one thing it's a pain to squeeze the cluster out that way, for another you risk scratching it, and for another you are bending the dash in a pretty dramatic way that I'd worry would lead to rattles and squeaks.

You're right that you don't have to remove the whole dash cover, but it only takes 5 or 10 minutes to unfasten the right/passenger side of it as well, and it makes removing and replacing the cluster so much easier.

LMAO,

So the "proper way" for a 1993-97 model is still the same as my DIY (post #2 above).
It is only a few more screws to remove and life is much much much easier with the dash trim out.
The Bay 13 DIY is kind of "cutting corner" technique.
