I would like to replace the broken cd player as well as install cupholders that are superior to the cheesy ones in the armrest. I have found a possible solution here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 7985853759 Are there better options out there? Would I still need to find a dash kit to properly attach the aftermarket deck? Know any place to get one of those? How about a wiring kit since I don't want to harm the original harness? I can't find much of anything for the 99 S70.
Thanks!

To clarify, you're going to take out the factory stereo and install an aftermarket stereo head unit and that eBay item?
Should work fine. I'd call installation places around town to find out about mounting kits (if you need one) and wiring harnesses they may stock for S70s. Let them know you'll buy from them if they help you with what products you need to get the job done.
Remember to bid in the last 10 seconds, or less if you can do it. Always the best way to buy eBay goods.

Yes, I will be replacing it with a single DIN cd player and the cupholder thing. I haven't been able to find any fit kits for my year and model. I'm wondering how the cd player will even secure.
I have located a wiring harness in town that I will pick up.

I got the CD player installed, and it looks sweet. No fit kit was required to mount the deck. Only something to fill the bottom void is required, which I will be using a cupholder kit. I can post some pics if anyone is interested.

Always interested in pics. If you find a host, link to them. If not, email to me and I'll host them/link to them.
