What would you guys pay for a '95 T5-R in good condition with 114k miles on it. It has service records including timing belt and water pump service at 105k. List is $4995. I'd be flying to Portland, OR and driving it 2,800 miles back home.

Yellow or black (yellows are more rare thus more $$$)?

If I had the $$, then probably 5 or 6 at most; maybe even 7 if I was really excited. lol

It's black. I'm assuming if everything checked out on it $5k would be a fair price. I don't really want to spend that much, though.

Give em a call before you go out there with your list of other things that might need servicing.

If everything sounds OK, and then looks OK when you go out there...I'd start at $4500.

Be careful, though...the 1 R I drove (a V70) was a piece of crap, I wouldn't go near it again. Occasionally, you'll find a true enthusiast putting one up for sale, but like with any car (and ones as rare as a T5R), the question stands: why are you selling it?

Very true.

I'm just going to stick with this 850 I looked at. It's close and it's a lot cheaper than an R. I can just put the difference into maintenance and maybe some goodies. :D

*sigh* Need a new clutch for the Z. Just going to get a flywheel for it as well, so I'm going to have to hold off on the 850 for a month or so. :(

It is sort of annoying that a clutch and flywheel install costs almost as much as the 850 I was about to buy!
