Can I replace my current 16" alloy wheels with 17"

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Can I replace my current 16" alloy wheels with 17"

Post by AR »

I want to replace the alloy wheels on my S80 due to corrosion and wondering about upgrading the current 16" to 17" alloys. Can anyone tell me if this is viable? I would guess this change could alter the speedometer calibration?

You don't want to. The 17 inch tires are much more expensive and no one carries them in stock.

I had 17 inch alloy's included with my T6 when i bought it; they ride very nice. I use 16 inch for the snow tires. whether it's tires or diameter, you can really tell the difference between the two.
