99 s80 T6 will not start

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

Ok, here’s an update for you. I used a meter to check if I was getting power at starter. That was good then I pulled the wire off the solenoid that comes from the key switch to see if it was ting power when I turned the key that was also good. But I did notice that it seemed to pull off fairly easy. I crimped the spade connector a little so it would be a tighter fit and reconnected it. It has been 4 days now and no more problems.

Could fpatti88 possibly upload a photo of where the spade connector is located or possibly a VADIS page?

Well I ran out options.... My 99 s80 continued to not start at the worst times... still showing "start prevented try again"... However I did find a Volvo dealer just 40 minutes away that ran a diagnostic and told me everything else that the car would need along with it needing a new ignition immobilizer on the antenna it cost 59us dollars plus labor 90us for the hour... it took approximately an hour an a half and the job was done.... I will use this dealership again.... the service was great.... they were professional and courteous.... Maxwell Volvo; Burlington, NC....
