Oil Pan Job... How bad?

I don't think there is one on the other side, according to that diagram. Maybe I need to take off one of the side bolts?

There are two bolts. Look at the VADIS chart. on the right side it says Part 17 quantity 2.

Remove both bolts

Doh.... I went back out and the first thing I saw was that bolt. Well, now to undo it and see if I can't get this sucker out!

remember to loosen 39 and 27 if it won't jack up enough

Take a bunch of pics of what you did when you get the pan off . it will be a great help to those who are doing it for the first time.

Make sure the axle shafts are seated in the trans when you put things back together. The mount you bent will straighten out with both bolts in and the weight of the engine. You may want to go back in a week and check the torque on them.

Absolutely! I'll work on that a little later. This whole project will definitely be going into tomorrow as well, and I'll maybe try and combine all the main points of this thread into a new one that isn't nearly 7 pages long!
