service transmission urgent warning

This came on yet car is running just fine. Have 100,000miles on it. Need to take a 1,000 mile trip, no time to check it out.
Is this a real problem or just a sensor problem. How to reset message?

I've heard more of those instances last couple of weeks. Has your car been standing in very hot sunlight for a long time? Might be a sensor measuring out-of-the-ordinary things just because of that.

try changing the tranny fluid and filter. might help
