1993 Volvo 850 fuel pump location
1993 Volvo 850 fuel pump location
Where is the access to the fuel pump for a 1993 Vovlo 850 GLT with 2.4 5 cylinder motor ? I was told by a mechanic it is accessed through the trunk...is this correct ? If so..where exactly is it in the trunk and how do I get to it ? Thanks

OK..that gives me a general idea..but I really need to know where it is in a four door sedan. The how to on the cheaper one was very helpful. OK anybody ..tell me where the exact location is in the trunk on my 1993 850 GLT sedan.

Pull up the carpet. You will see a metal hatch over the pump towards the back seat, right side of the car.

I'm really struggling with this.
I have replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump in this 1993 Volvo 850 however I still do not seem to be getting fuel to the engine. When I put my finger on the bicycle valve looking thing on the engine very little comes out.
I've hot wired the relay to verify that it isn't the issue it is not. The car cranks over great just no fuel.
I put my meter on the fuel pump looks like 8 volts and some change are going to the pump, but I really don't feel the pump turning on.
What else should I look at?

You should be getting full battery voltage - in the upper 12 to lower 13 volt range. Sounds like a wiring or a ground problem.I put my meter on the fuel pump looks like 8 volts and some change are going to the pump, but I really don't feel the pump turning on.
