Whining noise in audio

I have installed a amplifier to my stock unit but I can not get rid of the whining noise in the speakers. Noise increases when accelerating. I am not an electrical minded ind. but have basic skills. I have shortened wire to negative and that helped a little but am at a loss for the noise.....any help

Buy and install a ground loop isolator.

Fit a suppressor to the Alternator, or a noise suppressor/filter to the +tve lead close to your headunit.
That should sort it.
