Fan Motor for the Air Vent Is Really Loud
Nope no lights still. I'm still hoping its just the blower that's screwing everything up and that this will be the last time we'll need the car fixed this year. Otherwise we're selling it.

So it's been a week since the new pollen filter and aftermarket blower's been installed. Works great, except for one thing. After driving for a while, say 30 minutes, I still get little air from the vents. If I manually control the fan speed, the blower still makes a loud, minor screeching sound with little air coming out. Now unless I got a bad fan blower, could something else be the cause of the problem? When everything is working like it should, well it works.

You may have a problem with the motors or control arms that direct the airflow. Are you able to change the airflow from feet, dash and windscreen? Does the air speed change at all between the positions?

Airflow gets directed like it should when I change the mode man. Air speed changes accordingly when it works with no loud noise. Even with the loud noise, there's still a slight difference in air speed, though not much.
