Coolant Leak
I've got a '02 S80 T-6 97K on it and developed a coolant leak. I traced it to the plastic elbow that enters through the side of the timing housing. The elbow busted after it turns 90 degrees where it enters the housing (water pump??) Seems easy enough to change, but can't find suitable elbow at a parts store. Anyone know if dealer has this? Or am I better off changing the whole assembly?

I have looked and have found nothing for your car in VADIS. I really don't think your water pump needs replacing in its entirety. If you take a picture of this, hopefully your dealer will know this part and if he does, I'm sure he will be more than willing to sell it to you.

Thanks so much for the reply. It looks like it's part 19a (nipple) in the part5.pdf diagram. However, the nipple of my Volvo has a 90' bend and goes into the top, rather than the side, of the housing. I attempted a fix using a vacuum elbow, a rubber hose, and silicone which seems to have stopped the leak (temporarily).
