2000 V40 won't run

I have a 2000 V40 165K+ miles. Had timing belt changed about 6 months ago. Recently had check engine light come on and coded checked, P0303...misfire on cylinder 3. I had new plugs put in, added fuel system cleaner, oil & filter change. A week later check engine later came on again with the same code, two days later light went off on it's own, week later same thing happened...light on, light off a couple of days later. Now car won't run, will turn over but will not idle on it's own. I was able to get it home by giving it constant gas, slipping it into neutral when needing to stop. I'm not sure if a related issue or not, but the dash lights stopped working as well. Have checked fuses...all good. Any suggestions which direction to go with this...easiest / cheapest first of course!
