240 wiper noise

Been chasing down a noise n my wiper system as the blades change direction, from down to up and up to down. Seems as though the issue is in the wiper motor shaft as it goes through the firewall, certainly play in the shaft. Any adjustment there, or shall I just get a new motor? Thanks

There is no adjustment on the wiper motor. Check that all securing bolts are tight and that there is no play in the linkages.

I found a new wiper motor on e-bay for about 70 bucks. works great but doesn't seem to have a "park"position. This is not such a big deal. Check it out.
