MAF sensor removal?

Is there something holding the MAF sensor on other than the hose clamp? I removed the torx on the air box and loosened the clamp downwind of it but the darn thing just refuses to let go. It rotates in it's housing. Is there something I'm missing that holds it on? Maybe a clip inside or something?

no clip inside, just a little brute force to remove it

A good pull and maybe some twisting should pop it loose.

It was spinning freely in the hose but wouldn't budge which made me think there was something holding it back. I'll take another looksee.
