Need help Identifying Part I need

I have a 1998 Volvo S70 GLT. If you are looking at the engine, (standing in front of the car). On the right hand side just beside the fuel rail...there is a black plastic cover you can remove with a phillips head screw driver (Just one screw holding it). After removing the cover there is a hose that bends and is 1 inch on one end and 1 1/2 inch on the other. It is 4 inches long. Not sure what it is connected to but air runs through it. I need to replace this part as it has a huge hole in it but i'm having problems finding it on FCP Groton. If Anyone can help me out I would appreciate it.

It could be part of the idle air control system, but can you take a picture of the part and post it?

I think jreed nailed it. Does it go to a silver cylindrical object (the IAC valve) that is mounted just below the throttle body? If so or if you can post a picture I will look up the part number for you.

Wrapping the line with electrical tape will likely keep you going while the part comes in.

If you dont see it on their web site (the hoses) ask them .. they always can order it for you.

Yes, I believe that is it then. I'm working so can't post a pic right now but that's exactly what it goes to. Thanks!
