Powerflex Bushes

Post by hussar »

Keep seeing adverts for Powerflex bushes etc,
are they any good? are they easy to change for the old ones as suggested in adverts? will they give the improvements claimed?
Any thoughts out there?

I have used Powerflex in my BMW 5 series. They are quite good; a tad stiffer than stock, but not annoying. Not sure how they would be in a Volvo, but in my opinion anything that adds stiffness to a Volvo V70 would be a good thing...I have tried to improve the stiffness in every way I can think of, and it's still a bit of a Chris Craft.

Installed the rear control arm powerflex bushing this weekend. V70 handles much better through high speed corners. I am a pessimist and this 1 simple bushing provided WAY more improvement than I expected. Rear end is very stiff. More bushes to install.....
