I've gathered from looking around a bit that what im experiencing is a solenoid or overdrive switch relay issue. my car just wont shift into 4th gear and starts running REALLY hot...so i havent been on the freeway for awhile, AND I NEED TO! :? if someone has the time and patience for a beginner, i need step by step on how to access the overdrive switch relay in a 85/86 wagon and also step by step on how to clean the solenoid, one or both of these solving my overdrive issue. HELP! i remphasize: if you can help me out with this probably tedious request, STEP BY STEP would be AWESOME. i know how to change fuses and replace fluids in my wagon thats about it. :oops: oh ya and change tires....
