Goodmorning all,
At first, sorry for my worst English. But I will try anyway.
I've recently bought a very nice Volvo 760 Turbo Diesel Inter Cooler from 1983. In the Netherlands a unic car while it's never been deleverd with this engine / automatic gearbox in this age. From origin it's a Belgium car and it will be transported to the Netherlands next week.
Now I also can buy a nice Volvo SC-700 radio with cd--changer wih code etc., but will it fit into the car ? I don't believe there was a dubbledins radio in that age at all. I thought that a radio like the SC-700 series will fit in a 760 from ' 88 till '90. But I need it in a '83 car.
Who can help me out please ?
Will fit or not ?

Your English is better than my Dutch so I think it will be safer to continue in English. At first, sorry for my worst English. But I will try anyway.
Attached is a page from the Haynes manual for the 740/760 from 1982 to 1986. The factory fit radio is a double din so, unless someone has changed it, you should be good to go. It also has the instructions for removing the radio.
