Parts question made in China...
I just picked up two outer tie rods at the local Volvo shop (not dealer), one was stamped made in Germany and the other was suspiciously void of any markings. I paid the same for both, should I take them back and get two from the same manufacturer or I am I being too picky about Made in China parts?
Chances are they're both the same quality although German parts are renowned for being good quality since Volvo is Chinese now it might be the new parts coming through.

These days the German company might have a production facility in China! Several coporations manufacture parts in China although retain country of origin (where shipped from) stamping. Or the bushings and sub-parts might be from China but the casting from Germany. Who knows!
I agree with the above statements. Check the original Volvo break pads.. Made in India.
