Strut issue

To the both of you - grab that top nut with a wrench and push on it a little bit (you'll need quite a bit of pressure to loosen that thing, so don't worry about popping it loose). If the whole spring seat spins around - or moves in either direction AT ALL, the spring seat is dead & needs to be replaced. I used the XC90 ones to replace mine.

Cool, is the XC90 one better? They look the same on the fcp groton site.

They're a bit more heavy-duty construction, and should stand up to a few more years of use than the standard ones.
