2001 C70 Flashing Arrow Codes P0785, P1618

I have a 2001 Volvo C70 Convertible with 104,000 Miles.

The other day I noticed a Flashing Arrow light. I looked it up in the manual and it said this indicates a Fault in the Automatic Gearbox, thats pretty much all it says.

I also noticed that when I drove it seemed to accelerate really slow. So I stopped driving and started reading information on the Forum. By shifting from Park to L back and forth the Arrow went off and the car drove Normal. At first I was thinking maybe a PNP Switch.

The Check engine light stayed on, so I got the codes checked. I got codes P0785 and P1618.

I think P0785 relates maybe to a Solenoid, and Im not sure about P1618.

Also I checked the Transmission Fluid and it looked pretty Brown.

I'm just not sure where to start and the order I should go in. Any advice would be Greatly appreciated.

1- refresh the tranny fluid
2- with the ignition switch on/engine off, move the tranny shifter from P to L fast 8 to 10 times. this will clean the contacts of the PNP switch.
3- have the dealer/shop clear the codes and see what returns
