C70 Center Console Removal

I need to replace the bulb that illuminates the shifter position in our C70 convertible because at night shifting is a guessing game. Replacing the bulb seems to require removal of the center console, the procedure for which isn't obvious to me. Can anyone provide explicit directions on how to go about it? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
