98 V70 Fuel Sending unit

Good Day, the wires have corroded off of the sending unit on the drivers side unit. Can I use a fuel sending unit out of my 94 850 parts car?
Does anyone know the resistance of the sending unit full & empty?

On the '98 I think they are the same as an 850 but on an AWD it is going to be a real pri@* to get to since the AWD versions (at least the XCs) don't have the access cover plates behind the seats.
