Passenger Side Headlight Wiper Motor

Ok i just bought a set of new wiper arms for my 1994 volvo 850 SW weird part if i put them on and the passenger side doesnt work i know there is a forum already here on how to take it off but it shows the driver side passenger side in my car the motor is blocked by a big square slinky hose that will not budge it runs into a big black box which i think is my computer i need help or another way to get it out to fix it or replace it???

any thoughts

i will be posting later on somtime to try and figure out my heating problem i got no response from the panel the fan runs on high speed only and thats even with the switch is off might be a realy i think but thats another thing wiper first LOL

The headlight wipers are pretty much a waste of time and a source of much grief.

That said, on the North American driver's side is fairly easy to R&R the motor. The passenger's side is a real bearcat due to all of the crap you need to remove to get to it.

If you are determined to get it fixed let me know and I will post the VADIS procedure along with all of the parts you need to remove. I need to boot a Windows partition to get to VADIS and then migrating the .pdfs back to Linux is a bit of effort but it can be done

If the problem is that the motor won't shut off you can just snip one of the wires to the motor and problem solved.

hmm well ht at being said since there is so to remove ill forget it at least i have the wiper on there so dont look bad thank you though

actually if its not gonna be a hassle can you send those pdf's i got hold of a motor and if i have to ill spend the time and dismantle the thing to get it to work

I too would like the info as I have to change the same thing to pass an insurance inspection, after accident, I tried replacing trim with non-wiper bits but the inspector had pre-repair photos and is being an a%%

Don't worry about removing it, just unplug the harness and be done with it

The write-off inspection requires that all items on the car at the time of manufacture be present and work, so I need a working motor to pass, luckilly they didn't test the heated seats

I'm fixin 'em but they don't work yet, the rears do though
