seat fuse keeps on buring out

Post by icutraveler »

Hi everyone. First time posting here. I have a problem with a driver seat fuse, it keeps on burning out. I was putting seat cover on 2004 S60, so I moved the seat all the way forward and the the back rest all the way forward. When I tried to get the seat back to usual position it wouldn't move, so naturally I checked the fuse. It was burned out. So I put the new one in. But as soon as I pushed the new fuse in it burned right away. The switches on the seat didn't get stock or anything, but right now I have a seat all the way forward and it wouldn't move. Any suggestions? I'm thankful for every input.
thanks,
traveler

Sounds like you have a short. I would start by unplugging the seat and all the connectors under the seat and then start pluging things in one by one until the fuse blows or you get the seat back to where you want it.
