Haynes Manual Reference on New Bolt replacement

In the Haynes S60 workshop manual it refers to removal of brake caliper and limiter bracket for removal of front Disc rotor. In a side note it says..New bolts will be required for refitting. Can anyone explain to me why New Bolts are required for refitting?

Not really required to replace bolts, just Loctite on the bolts.
It says so because Volvo says so to add a bit more to the bill and cover thine arses.
