You might want to reset the computer by pulling off your negative battery cable. Hit the brake pedal to drain the charge, then reconnect it.
This way the car will re-learn idle and fuel trim limits the right way with the new sensor installed.
Don't worry if the idle's a little funky at first, it's trying out baby steps before it figures it out again
