Remember to bake some holiday cheer!

Actual photo taken 3 days ago as I tried to press new bushings I ordered from MyVolvoPartsOnline into my V70 R's control arms, following jschick's control arm and bushing heating/freezing pressing method. It didn't work.  The one and only bushing I tried went in about 1/5th of the way, then the temperatures equalized and it wouldn't move any farther.

Do this only when you're single, or your wife/girlfriend is not at home, like I did. :!:

I'll have a full big writeup soon detailing P2 V70 control arm bushing and spring seat replacement DIY. Going through about 100 photos I took right now.

Happy Holidays everyone! It's that time of year where we all get to (finally!) unwind and enjoy being with your family and loved ones.

To those of you getting a white Christmas, travel safely!

Happy New Year to all...my daughter just drove away to a friends house, she just got her liscence,i know the safety of these cars is awesome,i told her not to hit any potholes, tons around here in the northeast, and no scratches/curb rubbing!Actually, she has been looking for a used Volvo around here, maybe I kind of rubbed off on her.....Excellent site Matt as always....

Just saw From Paris with Love, the terrorist picked a Volvo Wagon for his bomb car!Bad terrorist, no Volvo for you!
Any SS member's happen to see the terrific chase and blow-up scene in this action packed movie?
Very impressed with how the 850 wagon handled weaving in and out of high speed traffic and it took a flippin bazooka to blow it up.

And who said Volvo wagons are dead.
