i guess the code from a2 325 is what memory loss from the ecu? does this mean i have to get a new ecu and were is the ecu located?

I cleared the codes once already and they came back but the car has been running ok. I changed the spark plugs, ran some sea foam and it was running good then i noticed the lack of power and stuttering when i punch the gas but not half as bad as before i changed the spark plugs. so i cleared all the codes now and will see if any come back but there was one code i pulled it said memory failure for the ecu. So i dunno whats going on but ill report if the light comes back on or whatever happens.

I had A 235 for a while, as far as I understood it was a meaning less code unless the battery is bad. If the battery is good then all should be good. That code popped up whenever I disconnected the battery, it should go away after the codes are cleared.

well in that case my battery was bad and it died a few days ago and i got a new EverReady 850 cca from Walmart it wasn't the model for my 850, the one for mine was 550 cca so i saw the 850 for the same price and i said what the hell (hoping it fits) and i had to take 1 screw out that was holding the positive wire to the battery holder to make a little slack to get the terminal on and it fit fine after i removed that little screw clamp holding the wire down. but i will keep an eye out on the cel to see if it comes back with this code again. Does this code come on when power is constitutively disconnected and reconnected and i kept jumping it cause the battery would not holding a charge, and the settings on the dash kept reseting so maybe it was this?

Every time I disconnected my battery I saw that code, I bet if I check my codes it is still in there...however I don't worry about it. If your vehicle runs normally with a new battery then it is safe to say you won't be in the market for a new ECM.

Yes I think so. I am not sure I know what you mean by "constitutively", but the dash will reset every time the battery loses power or is disconnected.

I heredone refudiate that expresionability!

I Kid. It IS a word - http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictiona ... titutively
( It just reminded me of someone... Actually a couple of people...)
But I'd guess you may have meant Consecutively.
