Hard starting 2000?

As some of you may know, I have this issue pretty well solved and sell an aftermarket fuel pump check valve, a simple half hour install.
I found a new supplier and have bought some in bulk (and cheaper) so I can now pass these savings along.
The old price was $85 shipped.

If your 2000 starts after many cranks then runs smoothly afterwards you need a new check valve.
No one seems to have right answer but this effects 2000's only so Volvo apparently used a different fuel pump that year.
The OEM pump has a check valve incorporated in the pump, inside the tank.
This mounts OUTSIDE the tank inline with the fuel line and is a half hour install, TOPS, for any halfway decent mechanic.

Seems like my issue on a 2000 v70. Hard to start first crank, then stop and do it again and fires right up. Runs fine until I shut it down and try to restart.
Are the check valve still available Jim?

Buy a NEW Volvo fuel filter. We usually trim the nipple on the BACK end of the new filter and mate up the new check valve there.
After that we install the entire assembly as one piece
Makes it easier to install (you need that extra 1/2" of clearance) and it seems to never give any problems mounted there.
