After using snow chains (summer tires) on my rwd V90 last week, I noticed tire noise and vibes (especially when decelarating through the 40-55mph range). While installing winter tires this week, I had the mech check the (rear) summer tire balance in case it had been affected by the chains (in fact, he had to rebalance the rear wheels). Unfortunately though, the noise and vibes continue--even with the newly installed/balanced winter tires...any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks, Brian

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

Did you have the balance checked on the front wheels? A friend lost some of the weights from his front wheel when driving through deep snow. He thought it was great as it's the first time he has lost weight for years.

Update...
Entire driveshaft replaced with new one from Volvo. However, it was only an 80% solution. What I mean is, I still have a minor, but noticeable, vibration between 20-50 mph. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
