Is it possible to stick a T4 engine in a normal 2.0?

I have found an T4 engine and I was interested if anyone knows if it is possible to stick the engine into my S40 2.0? thanks

As the saying goes, "Anything is possible". However, your description of the engine makes me wonder. The only engine designated as T4 for the UK S40 is the diesel. The petrol engines are T2, T3 and T5. If you are looking at a diesel that would be a more complex job but still achievable.

its a 2.0 with a high pressure turbo on it and its petrol

and it comes from a 2001 Volvo S40

And it has a different gearbox and fuel control unit. I haven't dug any deeper but would suspect that other parts will be different.
