front bumper cover removal?

Post by mcg122 »

OK, I've searched for a while now & can't seem to find any info on this so...
I recently picked up a 98 V70 GLT for parts, it's the same color as my 99 V70, so I was trying to remove the front bumper cover. I got all of it loose except for the top middle. There seems to be some sort of tabs, or clips that won't allow me to pull the cover off. I don't want to force it & break the slots on top. Is there some sort of tool needed? I read on another forum that "it should just pull right off". It seems like it will but not without snapping something on the top of the cover. Any insight would be appreciated!
Thanks!
