96 volvo 850 turbo
I have been posting for the past couple of weeks on a rough idle with no codes and cant figure out the problem. today i hooked my car up to my buddies computer and i stated the car stays in open loop and it is running at 20.9 RICH! I am assuming o2 sensor but am open to ideas most certainly

If it is running in open loop mode there should be a code to tell you what it is mad about if the ECU is working properly.

i suppose the ecu isnt working properly then. GREAT
i have a non turbo ecu but that does me no good right?
there is no codes given, i check everytime i put it in park

i have a couple of extra o2 sensors in my donor car. you think i should try those to see if it fixes the problem? the donor is a non turbo but i dont think it matters

alright i robbed the front o2 from my non turbo donor car and it fixed the problem. apparently n/a and turbo cars use the same o2 sensors so there you go.

Yes,o2 sensors for turbo & non-turbo cars are the same.Maf sensors are the same too except of early 850's made from '92-'94.
'97 850 2.5 20v / fully equipped / Motronic 4.4 from the factory / upgraded with S,V,C,XC70 instrument cluster / polar white wagon
