What to use for bigger front brakes

Hey Guys I have access to a pick and pull that has a Plethora of Volvo's
I want to know what caliper brackets and 12" discs would bolt on to my 99 XC70.

What size wheels does your XC have? If they're the 15" variety, the answer is none will fit under them.

Good luck finding the 12" variety in a junkyard - very few -70 series were equipped with them from the factory. If you can find a T5 SE (there aren't many) just laying around there, they should have them.

Awesome thanks JaB. I was searching all over the enet and just cant seem to find the proper info.
I think the wheels are 15" but I want to see if I can stuff R wheels under it.

My T5 came with them already - I don't know if they were a factory option or upgraded at some point or what on my particular car. I was surprised to find out it had them when I went to measure the brakes just to make sure.

Personally, I would never put used rotors on my car. Once you get the proper wheels that allow the calipers to fit under them, I would go the IPD route and buy the big brake kit that includes all of the hardware necessary. I think FCP might have a kit too, I can't remember.

I wouldn't use used rotors either. I want to know really what car to get the caliper brackets from or brackets and calipers if diff than mine. I can source good slotted rotors locally as I have accounts with many parts places here where I am

Calipers are the same. 2000 V70R's have them too - not sure about the 1999.
