2006 S60 d5 auto - transmission suddenly decided to go crazy

hey all,

I have a 2006 s60 d5 auto. the transmission suddenly decided to go crazy. ive put it on the computer and i'm getting these faults...

TCM-0051;002A;0100;002B;002C;012E;012D; FIRST FAULT TCM-0051 LOCK UP SOLENOID SLU STUCK IN OFF POSITION.

can the solenoid be changed?

i really can't afford a new box :cry:

I'd really appreciate any words of wisdom u may have.. thanks!

I'm not sure if it can be done with a 5 speed and in the car
I can ask someone tomorrow and get back to you if you like?

That would b great thanks..

It's a 6 speed just so u know. If it has to come out well it'll just have to come out, I just can't afford to buy a new transmission

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I have exactly the same problem in my tf80-sc box on the xc90. Started with a bit of flaring as they call it and now nothing. Nothing forwards or reverse. Anyone know what the slu solenoid is ? Im struggling to find much on Google
