Did you check the fuses?
Emergency signal is usually direct wired and the turn signal goes through ignition on first. But both are powered with the same fuse

I did not, they did remove the panels on both sides of the center console as well. I can't say that I would know what they looked like if I saw them. Just to the right of where the driver's right leg would be there did appear to something that looked like a relay clipped to the frame, but I didn't want to tug on it too hard without knowing what it was.

It appears that the switch for the hazard warning flashers was damaged when my center console was torn apart. Fortunately I have a parts car and was able to exchange the switch and get the turn signals going. Appreciate the help here.
