P1800 Air conditioner

Post by rmorrison »

Greetings,
This is my first time to post and look forward to becoming the new owner of my first P1800 this week!!
I'm close to purchasing a '71 which does not currently have AC. I will need AC and will buy this one if I can readily add an OEM AC or aftermarket. If not, I'll keep shpping.

Can anyone tell me if adding an AC to an 1800 is a reasonable task, or is it a major deal considering parts availability etc.

Thanks for the help.
Robert

Vintage Air (they are on the internet) makes kits for many and can assemble things for almost any car. Their specialty is antique cars that people make into street rods. They have pices that fit in all sorts of odd places and I think the P1800 is likely no challenge for them. I believe they are in San Antonio.
