850 SE '95 trailer plug wiring

Post by agwilly2002 »

:P Hullo evryrun. This poster has just joined the ilustrious world of VOLVO Owners !!
Now, I have a bit of a problem. I have just fitted a tow bar and am in the process of fitting the wiring for the plug.
My problem is that I dont know where to tap into the factory loom, I think it might have something to do with the little blue box near the L/H tail light but not sure. Any help would be much appreciated. :?

OK. So I have figured that taking the feed from tail light causes bulb failure light to illuminate. So were to take the feed??
Wish it was as simple as a falcon or commadore.

I bought the bulbs that have the wiring coming straight from the bulbs ie, brake and taillights. These wires, if I recall, then plug into some sort of adapter, which is used to plug into the trailer light plug. It really works well and it doesn't use the factory loom at all. I might have picked up the bulbs at Walmart, in the trailer section of the auto dept. but I can't remember.
