Mass Air Flow Sensor

Post by gtmovolvo »

My 98 V70 2.5 non-turbo idles rough, cuts out etc... I replaced the fuel pump, relay, fuel filter, plugs, wires and purge valve. I cleaned the MAF sensor and drove around; seemed a little sluggish but fine; I forgot to plug the sensor back in. I plugged the sensor back in and the car immediately sputtered and died. I am overseas and it takes about a week to get parts rushed down here, will it hurt to drive around with the sensor disconnected?
