I need my upper engine mount replaced... Look on IPD and saw a ton of other mounts and it got me thinking... when replacing one mount, is it wise/needed to replace all? will it make things tighter in the handling area? or can i go without it?
also... transmission torque mount from IPD... thinking of just buying blue bushing to fit in my existing mount... think this is wise? or should i leave it stock?

Replace any engine mount that has failed. This will have no effect on suspension.
Different mounts are offered as they transmit different amounts of vibration to the steering wheel at idle. Its a personal preference thing.
The upper mount and trans mount do seem to be the common failure points.

Do not forget to have the lower engine pad checked (right side of car behind the RF wheel well)
Those too go bad

Right by the crank pulley. BTW, don't do a complete poly setup unless you like vibration. I would suggest using poly in the small bush of the lower tranny mount only. Using poly in the big bush seems to really generate a level of vibration that most people just can't take.
