Welcome to MVS,

Where did the stud snap free? If it actually broke the stud itself the only real fix is to replace the delta link trailing arm. We have had a couple of members that broke the stud and had the old one drilled out and replaced but the labor was more than a junk yard delta link.

If the stud simply snapped free from the trailing arm and the stud is still intact you can take it to a welding shop and have them weld it back. You are dealing with two different metals, the stud is steel and the delta link is aluminum, so it will take a shop with more than a basic stick welder to deal with it.

Are you talking about the welded nut for the upper shock mount? If so you may need to grind off the bolt head. I think with 2 people you could get someone under the car to hold the nut. Access is not the greatest though. I Sprayed the part of the bolt that projects thru the nut with penetrating oil prior to unscrewing it to avoid this. If you have access to a welder it may be possible to re-weld it. Otherwise just find and use a flange nut to replace the welded one.
